Event Collaboration
It is probably not uncommon for universities to study event management. However, I'm sure there aren't any universities that have classes that handle everything from planning to holding a mega-event with 500,000 visitors. The mission given to students taking this ``Jiyugaoka Event Collaboration'' is to promote the charm of Jiyugaoka through the management of the ``Jiyugaoka Goddess Festival,'' which is held for two days every October. He will be the one who will lead the big business to success by holding discussions with the organizer, the Jiyugaoka Promotion Association, and supporting companies. The skills you will acquire through this process are endless, including planning, negotiation, management, action, and collaboration skills. It can also serve as a case study for regional branding and promoting intergenerational communication. This is a rare opportunity to grow as a student. Jiyugaoka event collaboration is
The biggest feature is that students are responsible for all event planning and management.
However, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the Jiyugaoka Goddess Festival has been canceled...
Having lost our big purpose, we have always thought this way.
We must not lose what our seniors and local people have built up over the years.
Some people are collaborating with the Jiyugaoka neighborhood association, and others are promoting Jiyugaoka on SNS.
With each of our thoughts in mind, we have proposed and implemented what we can do for Jiyugaoka.
Someday,
We hope that the Jiyugaoka Goddess Festival will be held again.
It gives stimulation to the irreplaceable everyday life.
Jiyugaoka event collaboration,
Let's enjoy our own life.

Xmas event
December 18 and 19, 2021. A joint Christmas event was held by three shopping associations in Jiyugaoka. Although not as large as the Goddess Festival, it was the first event for students and adults alike in many years. Let's take a closer look at what they actually did.
*Students who participated in the event have submitted a notification and have received permission from the university to carry out their activities.
*On the day of the event, disinfectant solutions were installed in various locations to thoroughly prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
|Repeated growth and challenges
Anyone can do it if they just want to come up with an interesting project. At Jiyugaoka Event Collaboration, we work out the details of the plan, including the costs necessary for the project and the schedule leading up to the day, negotiate with sponsoring companies, and execute the event. There are many things that can only be learned and experienced by actually managing an event. There is no doubt that planning and managing the Christmas event was a turning point in their student lives for them. And they will continue to grow from this experience. The challenges faced by students to overcome the coronavirus continue.

Jiyugaoka pet special feature
Jiyugaoka Pet Special operates a website and writes articles about pets. Specifically, we are collaborating with three pet shops in Jiyugaoka to introduce recommended items and new products. In addition, by introducing stores in various categories, such as stores that allow pets and stores that sell animal-related products, ASA Jiyugaoka is helping to attract new customers and improve its image. The students are working on various ideas, such as actually exploring Jiyugaoka and visiting stores to take photos.

In 2021, we succeeded in featuring all 9 pet-related stores in Jiyugaoka through a website, insert flyers, and video creation. Additionally, by featuring special features in the second and third editions, we were able to build lasting relationships with pet shops. The students who actually planned and managed this event had the following to say:
In order to feature pets, we negotiated interviews with pet shops and visited them many times. As a result, I feel that I have acquired negotiation and sociability skills. There were many times when negotiations did not go well, but each time I improved and improved my negotiation skills. I also think that my communication skills have improved because I talked with many people, including people at the store and people at ASA Jiyugaoka, and received their cooperation.

In October 2021, we opened an Instagram for Jiyugaoka event collaboration with the purpose of "expanding the appeal and recognition of Ibekola."
Interviews with people in the shopping district, seniors, and students, questions and answers about classes from first-year students, and reports on activities at the time are published for Sangyo University applicants and companies.
Currently, we have over 69 followers and 420 views, allowing us to deliver information to many people.
Two people who were in charge of planning and operating Instagram looked back on those days, so I would like to introduce their voices.
| Our Voice ~Voices from planners and operators~
Voice1
We have been working with an awareness of ``what the world needs'' and ``initiatives that only we can do,'' rather than planning what we want to do. Many of our activities are carried out in environments that are very close to local people and society that we would not normally interact with, and it was sometimes difficult to bring them closer to the ideal form for both parties.
However, I felt a strong sense of accomplishment when I worked together with the local community to realize a plan that had gone through many trials and errors.
Voice2
We did not just post an ad, but we thought about what would happen next, how it would affect the people who saw it, and how it would change the current situation. We also analyzed what benefits there would be to it.
Through the operation, I naturally began to think about the aims and strategies of the companies that sponsor promotions and events in the world, and this helped me broaden my perspective.
Activities will continue with this year's students.
Focus on gaining more followers and posting with novelty

[Jiyugaoka event collaboration 12th generation 8th generation captain Misa Okuyama]
I am glad that we were able to make this year's Goddess Festival a success despite the fact that it had been a long time since not only the students but also the people in the shopping district had been to the festival. Due to the coronavirus, the Goddess Festival was canceled when I was taking the Event Collaboration course. No one knew when the next Goddess Festival would be held, but the fact that it was to be held for the first time in three years while I was still in school filled me with a sense of elation and anxiety that I cannot describe in words.
Through the event, I was reminded that even though we are all in the same city, Jiyugaoka, and we all have the same desire to "improve Jiyugaoka," we still run into each other and have troubles. We regret that we should have been able to manage schedules instantly even when we were required to respond flexibly to emergencies or visitors. However, as a student, I gained the ability to think about what would be the best course of action and act from my own perspective. Because it was a practical class, I had many opportunities to study social studies.
Although neither I nor my junior colleagues have experience in event management, I cannot express my gratitude enough to the people at OGOB, the neighborhood association, and businesses who helped us. Thank you very much everyone for your help.
[Jiyugaoka Event Collaboration 13th Class 2022 Entertainment Lab President Honan Watanabe]
I not only served as a volunteer staff member on the day, but also worked with the youth group of the Jiyugaoka Shopping District Promotion Association. In addition to coming up with ideas and developing plans, I was able to learn how to make ideas come true and what it takes to make them come true.
At the 48th Jiyugaoka Goddess Festival, events were held at various locations in Jiyugaoka. Under these circumstances, it was difficult to communicate with the entire city of Jiyugaoka and the students, such as how to allocate students, how to secure personnel, and how to create communication lines, so that the event could be run smoothly. was. Furthermore, since it was our first event, there were some booths that were understaffed, and others that were overstaffed. I believe that if we had a deep understanding of the content of each project and thought together with the leaders about how many people we would need, we could have minimized such incidents.
My classmates are really great and they support me so much every day. I believe that the reason we were able to make this event a success even though we had no experience was because our classmates took good care of their juniors, and each of us held repeated discussions with the members of the Jiyugaoka neighborhood association. Being the president of Entertainment Lab has not always been fun, but I am able to continue doing so thanks to everyone. I will never forget to be grateful for this environment and will continue to work hard in my future activities.
With the Goddess Festival held for the first time in three years, the vibrancy of events is returning to the city of Jiyugaoka.
It won't be long before the enthusiasm of the students taking the Jiyugaoka Event Collaboration course moves the city of Jiyugaoka.
``What you can do because you are a student at the University of Industrial Management.

How you make use of them is up to you. ”
